NO GUARANTEES: *At WHF we will do our best to ensure that you are purchasing a healthy goat to add to your herd, however, we cannot guarantee the health of the goats once they leave the farm. It is then up to the new owner to accept responsibility for the health and well being of the goat(s) being purchased. Please protect the life of your goat and your investment! Ensure you have a plan for parasite control and a relationship with a veterinarian that is experienced with treating goats. Research topics online, develop a relationship with an experienced breeder who is willing to mentor you - never stop learning and when you know better, do better! Also provide your goat(s) with appropriate shelter and secure fencing; the companionship of at least one other goat; and clean feed, hay, and water.
*The herd is tested annually each fall for CAE through BioTracking. Additional tests can be performed upon buyer's request and at buyer's expense.
*WHF cannot guarantee the show career or milk production of any goat.
WHF RESERVES THE RIGHT TO: *Refuse the sale of any animal to any person for any reason at any time. *Retain any kid(s) for any reason at any time.
Updated May 29, 2019
*All kids are on the bottle from birth and will need to continue being bottle fed in their new homes. I recommend weaning wethers at 10-12 weeks, bucklings at 12 weeks, and doelings at 16 weeks for optimal health.
*All kids are disbudded (no exceptions) and will be given age appropriate coccidia prevention, vaccinations, and other routine health care.
Herd sellout! I will no longer be raising goats, but several are retiring here.
